Blackstone, the world’s largest private equity firm, announced on Tuesday that it had agreed to buy a majority stake in Accuvant, a 12-year-old company that offers cybersecurity software and consulting services to companies and governments. Sverica International, a private equity firm that owns a stake in Accuvant, is investing alongside Blackstone, according to the announcement. Accuvant’s management is also investing in the deal. The deal is worth $225 million, including debt financing, a person briefed on the matter said.
